ATELIER is a creative agency based in Worcester and Boston, Massachusetts. We are a full service studio specializing in Identity, Marketing, Packaging, Merchandising, Print Communication, Web Design, Naming, trends, Signage and Environmental Graphics.

We are storytellers, nonconformists and problem solvers. We have the ability to process many variables and create a vision. We listen well and create solutions based on common sense while exceeding expectations. We strive to elevate. We believe we live in a visual society and we focus on creating identities and messaging that is highly researched and speaks to the future . 

We are fortunate to travel. We are inspired by our experiences and the interesting people we meet. Our diverse clients hire us knowing that our best work is in their best interest. Our best clients are honest and direct. We are challenged by limitations and we are optimists. We work with and understand many industries. Do we  step out of the comfort zone and get rebellious? Yes.

we are Payal Thiffault (Mumbai) and Michelle May (Worcester) and we have worked side by side since 1998. Together, we have proven success with high level clients, celebrities and vendors. we have developed lines for prominent brands such as Wayfair, Babies “R” Us, Costco, Caesar’s Palace, Joss & Main, Gilt and BRIDES Magazine. Celebrities like Tyra Banks, Bill Gates, Jim Henson, Robert Cray, Death & Co, Ricky Martin and even Queen Rania, among others have chosen our designs. Our work has been featured in The Knot, BRIDES and Martha Stewart as well as on The Today Show, Good Morning America and BRIDES Live Weddings.

We have developed concepts for A social impact incubator, trade shows, restaurants, art festivals, STEM networks, cyber security professionals, fine art exhibitions, staffing agencies, Fundraisers, wine importers, paper companies, and we have extensive experience in the wedding industry.
